The Larimer County Child Advocacy Center (LCCAC) reduces trauma to children during child abuse investigations. We provide a child-friendly setting for forensic interviews & the coordination of services while ensuring children and families receive effective and sensitive support. The LCCAC currently serves ~400 children a year acting upon our mission. Don't be fooled. Child abuse does occur in our community.

Have You Ever Felt
The pain
The confusion
Which finally led
To numbness?
Have you ever felt
So alone
You want to die?
Trying to find friends
But not able to trust
To Obey
His words
Is law
My mother
Wants to know
Everything
Who do you obey?
Or do you wait till
Either He or You Die?
Has you world
Ever been shattered by Trust?
Have you ever Felt
What it’s like to be Molested?
This poem was written by a 13-year-old child, who was victimized when she was 7-years-old, and read in court. Just a little reminder of all the children we are helping with the Bocce Y Bella fundraiser.
